Aishwarya Sanchety is a designer and photographer based in London. Her design practice sits at the intersection of print and digital media, spanning editorial design, visual identity & branding, website design, and fine art photography.
In her personal work, she reflects on themes of home, displacement, and memory, using her practice as a way to understand her identity and lived experiences. Taking a multidisciplinary approach, Aishwarya weaves together publication design and photography to tell stories that resonate and create connections. With a keen eye for detail, her work has a thoughtful and warm sensibility, and an emphasis on moments of respite. Central to her practice lies an exploration of intimacy, seeking out those small fragments of relief and solace that offer a pause amidst the everyday.
As she visualises her practice and its future, Aishwarya plans to explore how visual design can be both culturally impactful and revealing. Hoping to always collaborate with creative individuals from various practices and disciplines to explore the possibilities of combining design, textiles, art, and technology.
